Description

GOOD USED CONDITION: Acrotherm EC55 heater and associated kit to heat a tipi/marquee or other temporary structures. RRP for heater, marquee kit and tigerloop is £2,800+

This size heater is suitable for three large tipis/spaces or comparable marquees around 20m x 10m.

They have been used in residential settings and in other venues like sports halls, old cinemas through fire exit doors to heat these spaces.

Comes with 16amp 3 phase C-Form (round blue plug).

This heater has been fitted with a tigerloop system which allows it to be connected to a bunded fuel tank for continuous use. This function can easily be overridden back to thermostat/manual operation.

The heater has been serviced annually, with the last service undertaken in Nov 2024.

The heater is in good working order, the paintwork on the shell of heaters and handle bar does have some scuffs/marks/scratches/dents but it doesn’t in any way affect the performance.

The diffusers do have some signs of wear ie paintwork scratches and some dents/holes present but do not in any way affect performance.

The rain cowls are bent/dented, we will straighten them for you as best as we can, but again this does not in any way affect performance.

The EC55 has an output of 51kW (175,000 BTUs / Hr).

Its dual voltage option also makes the EC55 very popular with the tool hire industry for use in construction and remediation, and the horticultural / agricultural sector for the heating of glasshouses, polytunnels and grain drying applications; the heater can be quite easily switched to/converted to the required voltage if required.

The EC55 is supported by a 65 litre metal fuel tank, which in turn connects to the metal sheathed, hydrocarbon resistant rubber fuel hoses; the 4.64 Litres / Hr fuel consumption means that the heater will comfortably operate continually for 12 hours in the manual position
